Okay, so I think it is important that maybe we share our current lifestyle with each other, and what we want our lifestyle to be in a few months so I will start and everyone else is encouraged to do the same.
Current Lifestyle:
Okay currently I am around 185 lbs, not too bad for someone who is 6'3" but I am not in shape. I used to be a cross country runner and play basketball alot. Not anymore. I currently work out about once a week, but there was a small stretch during the summer that I was out running along the Congo River. My diet isn't horrible, except I eat too much candy, pizza and a think called a Schwarma (lebanese bread rolled up with french fires, lettuce, mayonnaise, and chicken. For those who have visited Deric, this is kinda of like a donner kabob.) I definitely need to eat more fruits and eat smaller meals. I am not taking my cholesterol medicine, mainly because I am too lazy to take our water bottle over to the water distiller and fill it up. I have a belly, and I don't like my belly.
WHERE I WANT TO BE:
I really don't want to lose much weight, but I do want to get rid of the fat. I would like to be down to 175 lbs, but more importantly I want to be in Shape. My goal is to be able either this winter or next summer when I am home to run a 5K and actually perform well, meaning finishing under 19 minutes. I want to lower my cholesterol below 200, I don't know what it is right now, but hopefully it isn't too high.
HOW AM I GOING TO GET THERE:
Well to start off I am going to start waking up at 6 every morning and work out 30 minutes on our Gazelle why I watch the second season of Heroes on DVD. This will be Monday through Friday. After a month of doing this, I will start going outside and running around the river, this will be getting me ready for my 5 K. Next, when I get home from work, if it isn't too late I will try to convince Spencer to either go swimming with me or do the wii fit. Then before going to bed I will do a set of pushups and crunches. Okay on to food, I need to start buying more fruit and stop eating so much candy. In fact I am about to eat a candy bar, and instead of eating the whole thing, I am only going to eat half of it. I will stop eating so much, and will actually ask Becca to tell me when I am starting to eat too much. As for my cholesterol I am going to start taking my medicine. In fact yesterday I went to the Doctor to get my prescription to get refilled and I will, no matter how tired I am make sure I have a bottle of water in the bathroom. Okay so those are my goals.
