- Water: Deric told me awhile ago that drinking 16 oz of water first thing in the morning helps boost the metabolism. I've been trying it, but I can't tell if it has help yet. But it certainly can't hurt, since we all need to drink lots of water.
- Food: I've always heard and I believe that not eating past 6:00ish pm. helps to keep from gaining weight. But I'm sure portion control throughout the day has to take place also. A little treat every now and then might be okay!!!!
- Exercise: We all don't exercise like we should each day, but there are small things we can do to help; park further away in parking lots, take stairs instead of elavators. Every little bit helps, right?
- Soft drinks: I've heard and read many reports lately saying how bad soft drinks are for us, and that includes diet drinks.
I really don't know much of what I'm talking about. But I wanted to post this so that Deric knows we want to do this with our family and have lots of fun and support each other.

so i got the e-mail to be able to contribute but i still cant, i guess im not loved:( mom i think your ideas are about right!!! i plan on working out as soon as im not in pain:(
